International House Braga IH Braga opened in 1985. It is situated in the very centre of the city and has 9 classrooms, a reception area, a student sitting room, a well equipped teachers room and library. The school has classes for children, teenagers and adults. Courses start at beginner level and progress to the University of Cambridge Proficiency exam. All students in the school take a short entrance test and are placed in an appropriate class based on their age and ability. Computer Assisted Language Learning The school has a computer room for students which includes multimedia PC's and provides language practice for students on a regular basis.	Examinations Students are prepared for the following examinations:- University of Cambridge CELS* University of Cambridsge FCE University of Cambridge CAE University of Cambridge CPE * International House is the centre for the CELS examinations in the North of Portugal.	Summer Courses Intensive courses take place during July and September for children, teenagers and adults. Courses Abroad The schools can arrange for students to attend a course in an International House, in countries such as England, Australia, Canada or the USA. Teachers' Centre Seminars are held for State schools teachers of English twice a term.

Teaching in Local Schools IH Braga teaches English to children in several local primary schools as well as in "Infantários" and"ATL's".
