For Prospective Teachers entering the field of English Language Teaching

• CELTA - Cambridge Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults
  Run intensively every month or extensively from December '05 to June '06
• The Teaching Knowledge Test
  This can be taken as a test or you can join the TKT Group (see above)
• A day at IH Lisbon
  Thinking of doing English Language Teaching?   A day of useful sessions to introduce you to this area.

• The International House Language Awareness Course (LAC)
  An extensive course aimed at teachers who are interested in developing their awareness of the English language and, in particular, pedagogic grammar.
• The International House Certificate in Teaching Young Learners
  A highly practical course aimed at those teachers who are new to the area of teachong young learners (both intensive and extensive versions are available).
• The International House Advanced Methodology Course
  Aimed at those teachers who would like to continue, at post-CELTA level, to develop their awareness of methodology and English Language Teaching in general.   This extensive course is highly recommended as a foundation course for the Cambridge DELTA course.
• The DELTA course
  Run extensively from September '05 (Orientation Course) to June 2006.
• The Distance DELTA Orientation Course
  International House Lisbon will this year be running the Orientation course from 4th to 15th September 2006.
